Our Project Manager works throughout the preconstruction period to assist our Estimating Department and to become familiar with the details of the project.  This standard offers the Owner a seamless transition from the preconstruction phase to the construction phase. Our Project Managers utilize their experience and organization skills to review, verify, log and communicate all project details to the Project Superintendent for the duration of the project.

During the preconstruction stages and throughout the construction phase our Project Managers will implement these features of our Quality Assurance Program:

• Meeting with each major vendor and/or subcontractor to review the plans, specifications and project requirements before award of the subcontract.
• A preconstruction meeting with each major subcontractor to review specific details and project requirements prior to starting work on the jobsite.
• Weekly jobsite, subcontractor meetings where the current status of the project is reviewed, and current and/or anticipated problems are addressed.
• Coordination meetings with selected subcontractors to assure smooth work flow among the trades.
• Inspection of all materials when they are delivered to the jobsite to ensure they meet specification requirements.
• Initial and follow-up inspections of the work in place to verify compliance with the contract requirements.
• In-house committee meetings to discuss and coordinate progress of the work. Top management, operations staff, project management staff, and accounting staff form the project review committees.
• Quality indicators are identified for each project. These indicators are specific items that will gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of the work. Quality indicators will range from project safety data to productivity information. Pertinent accounting data is also monitored. Document turn-around time is monitored to make sure we facilitate the flow of written communication.
• The Project Superintendent and subcontractor foremen meet daily and conduct detailed quality inspection tours of all phases of the work as it progresses.
