Gay Construction Company’s Project Team continues to maintain project goals even after the construction is complete. Assistance in Warranty Policy and Procedures and the understanding of maintenance and operations are essential to your satisfaction and success in a completed project.

We will provide, as will all subcontractors, a one-year warranty after substantial completion. In addition, extended warranties will be provided on certain portions of the work as required by the contract documents.

Project Closeout procedures begin at the start of the project and we do not treat this process lightheartedly by simply assembling documents at the end of construction. These procedures include:

• Requirements for submission of the warranties, as-built documents and guarantees.
• Operations and Maintenance instructions, for owner personnel and transfer of the O&M documents.
• Requirements for completion of any punch list activities.

Our same team remains involved with your project after final completion to promptly address any post-completion activities or issues that may arise during the warranty period.
