- Construction and renovation of Visitors Center, Historic Barn, Abbey Gift Shop and Café, Gallery Barn, Bonsai Nursery & Green House, Central Courtyard and Memorial Plaza & Prayer Walk
- Preserved the cultural and spiritual aspects of the existing facility while creating an interpretive center for educating the public on the Monastery’s history and life
- Maintained the atmosphere of quiet and solitude prevalent in the private areas of the Monastery while creating an important facet of the Monk’s sustenance accessible to the public
